Raychel began her career studying film at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she fell for the lure of the soundtrack prompting a move to Chi-Town to study sound more in depth at The School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. During her time in college she took on serval internships including roles studying under sound engineers, sound artists and on locations of independent films and in news room settings. She has been doing freelance audio engineering and mixing for the past 8 years and freelance videography, photography and video editing for the past 3 years for a top-20 paper based on Long Island, New York. She has won 5 New York Emmys for sound work done on Newsday documentaries.
