Hello and Welcome!
I’m a photographer based in New York, but more than that—I’m someone who sees stories in split seconds, in gestures, in light that won’t repeat itself, captured eternally. Photography is my first love. My mom, a fellow memory preserver, put cameras in our hands before we understood what aperture meant. She would wake us in the middle of the night to capture adventure, beauty, chasing the pink-blue haze of a rising sun over a quiet beach.
I studied photography, film, and sound at Pratt Institute, the University of the Arts, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. But it wasn’t just about honing technique—it was about learning to follow instinct. To trust the gut feeling that tells you when to raise the camera and when to just wait.
Since 2008, I’ve been professionally capturing memories and telling stories that mattered, sometimes quietly, sometimes urgently. Along the way, I earned a Peabody, a National Edward R. Murrow Award, and 14 New York Emmy Awards. My work has been published by GQ and Food & Wine, The San Francisco MoMA and Newsday.
I hope you enjoy some of my favorite captured moments, beauty, story and powerful stillness. And if I’m doing my job right, you’ll feel it too!
